DIY Dish Soap

This week I made this dish soap with my Mother in law and sis-in-law. I love the results!! Smells so good and works great! I tested it out on a frying pan that had been used to make eggs and it cleaned it right up! It also seems that it’s very concentrated so a little bit goes a long way… saving money is always a plus 🙂

DIY Dish Soap

1 1/2 cups hot water

1/2 cup castile soap

1 TBS baking soda

1 TBS grated soap (we used Fels-Naptha)

Grapefruit Essential Oil (15 drops)

In a large bowl or pan add castile soap, baking soda, grated soap, and oils. Slowly pour very hot water over ingredients. Stir until dissolved. Leave mixture in bowl until it’s cool. Once cool stir as needed. Pour into your container.

  1. Where did you find the castile soap? I’ve been looking at a few people who’ve done this and had great results!
